It's always fun to be able to go with a friend and help them shoot a wedding.  It allows me to be creative without the pressure of leading the shoot.  I'm friends with some wonderfully talented people in the industry and Karlin Connell is among some of the most talented.

I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and Andy and it was a real honor to photograph not only their engagement session but also their wedding!  They are two wonderfully pleasant people and make a fantastic couple!  Congratulations Andy and Stephanie!  It's also a real treat to be able to photograph a wedding at Rosemary Beach so I was thrilled to be able to return.

The exciting thing about shooting in many locations is that you get to not only see but also photograph a wide variety of cultures and places.  When Ashley and I first spoke about her wedding she was so excited about incorporating the Key West culture in her images.  Key West is a special place to me because my grandmother and great grandmother are Conchs (Key West Natives) and while the town has changed so much in the generations since they were young it is still a unique place with a unique culture beyond the tourists.  Ashley prepared for the day with her cousin, best friend and her mother's best friend.  After she and Ari saw each other for the first time we took some time out of the day to walk around Duval Street and the surrounding streets to bring in the culture that brought her south for her wedding.  The day was just what you expect in the Keys - relaxing.

On March 20th spring finally decided to grace us with her presence here in Florida.  It couldn't have happened on a more perfect day, giving Jayson and Tori the most beautiful weather for their wedding.  Tori was absolutely beautiful and elegant and surrounded by over 200 of their closest family and friends she and Jayson were married under the palms at The Vinoy.  It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their day.  Below are a few favorites!
